Today's Jamaicans are the descendants of the Amerindians, the European colonists, the African slaves, and those who came late - Germans, Irish, Indians, Chinese, Lebanese, Syrians an Arabs.
Jamaica's cuisine is the by product of this diverse cultural heritage an its food tells the story of its people.
